Burlington's Wednesday night league runs. Pick up games in between.
A 6-week, low-cost ($20) basketball league built around Wednesday nights, balanced teams, and good full-court runs. Pick up games in between league nights.
This is a relatively serious pickup league for players who already know how to hoop, so those on the sidelines stay entertained.

Starts Wednesday April 29th. 6-week season. Thursday rain backup.
Wednesday nights, 2 courts. Outdoor first / indoor backup space.
More than just one weekly game.
A competitive run with standings, a prize to play for, and a groupchat that helps people organize pickup runs across Burlington between league nights.
I want a space where people can hang out, bring friends or family, and enjoy a good night around the court, bring food and all. The idea is to build a league night people want to stick around for, not just show up, play, and leave.
The winning team gets a pizza party and free t-shirts. There is an actual prize at the end, so the games still mean something.
Part of where your fees are going is toward renting an indoor space on rainy days when needed.
Keep it moving, keep it clean.
Secure your spot or just hang out.
Players sign up individually and rate their own skill level from 1 to 10 so teams can be built as evenly as possible.
7-player max rosters. Smaller teams mean better run and more playing time.
Fill out the signup form to register, rate your skill level 1-10 and send $20 to @BtownBrief on Venmo. This league is not designed for beginners still learning, we want runs that people on the sidelines want to see.
Can't commit? Join a citywide groupchat for organizing pickup runs across Burlington. Stay updated on the league and find games throughout the week for more laid-back runs.
I have a Burlington newsletter with 3k subcribers looking for things to do around town. Give them a reason to come out.
